PART TIME ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT – IMMEDIATE VACANCY
We are seeking to recruit a friendly, professional, and competent office administrator to work 2 days a week at the offices in Waterwells, Quedgeley, Gloucester.
The ideal candidate will have experience working within an office environment and be able to work well within a team but equally be responsible and reliable to work on their own.
You will need to be able to prioritise your workload, have an excellent telephone manner, strong communication skills and support the Office Manager with a variety of administrative duties including, but not limited to:
- Generating and issuing fee proposals and invoices.
- Creating project files.
- Preparing/typing reports.
- General hardcopy and digital filing.
- Providing support generally to engineers.
- Front of house, meeting guests and clients.
- Operating, answering, screening and forwarding telephone calls, recording messages etc.
- Arrange in house CPD events.
- Office tasks generally, helping to ensure the efficient operation of the practice.
The candidate will be confident using various IT packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience/ability to effectively use social media to promote the company brand would also be an advantage.
The part time role is for 2 days each week, 8:30am – 1pm & 1.45pm – 5pm, mainly Monday and Tuesday with some occasional flexibility subject to agreement with the office manager. Additional hours would be available/as required to provide colleague holiday cover.
Annual holiday allowance will be based on 25 days a year + bank holidays, both Pro-Rata. Salary will be based on a competitive hourly rate. A company health ‘top up’ insurance and ‘cash back’ policy is also provided.
CIVIL ENGINEER / TECHNICIAN IN INFRASTRUCTURE – IMMEDIATE VACANCY
An immediate position is available within our busy Civils and Infrastructure department to assist with an ever increasing work load on a wide variety of projects. A varying range of experience would be considered for the role.
The candidate should be either approaching graduation with a Civil Engineering degree or have up to 15 years experience working for a consultancy. An experience candidate should be proficient with MicroDrainage and AutoCAD software, and well versed in drainage design, SUDS, road design, DMRB and highway section agreement works. You should be a degree or HND qualified (or equivalent) civil engineer / technician.
